As everyone is aware of the current local and national efforts to diminish the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we at Don Brooks & Associates, Inc. want to let you know our office is currently conducting business in-office. Please do not hesitate to call or email us to discuss any pending or new tax matters.

IRS, Connecticut and Massachusetts and most other states have extended the due date for filing and paying any taxes owed until July 15, 2020. This includes the first estimated payment for 2020.

Our top priority has been to provide superior service to our clients; to accomplish this we are taking every precaution possible to protect the health and safety of our team, their families and you. Our work on your matters will proceed uninterrupted.

We are limiting person-to-person contact. All appointments after March 23, 2020 are cancelled at the present time. All communications with our office should be via email (use either don, pam or charles at donbrooksassoc.com) or telephone. Our doors will not be open for walk-ins. If you need to sign your returns or drop off your information please call ahead at 860-648-4002 to make arrangements with our staff. All in-person meetings will be limited during this time.

You may reschedule an appointment if you wish when things get back to normal. We would encourage you to either drop off or send your documents to us via the postal service or through our secure Share File portal. To use Share File, call the office for instructions. Beginning March 24, 2020, our office will be open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Updates will be posted to our website (www.donbrooksassoc.com) and our facebook page.
