STATE TAX DEPARTMENT REMINDS EMPLOYERS TO PAY TAXES TIMELY
  Hartford – The Department of Revenue Services (DRS) today urged businesses to avoid the temptation of dipping into employees’ withholding, or sales tax collections as a way to temporarily pay for other expenses. Failure to submit sales and payroll taxes in a timely manner can result in serious consequences for a business and its owner.
